Originally from the metropolitan area of New York, my creative bug started in the theater. Theatrical stage design, where | learned how to create visual impact, tell a story, and think creatively. My business entrepreneur bug started when I was a young teen working in my father's jewelry stores around the holidays. Both journeys have had a bold impact to shape who I am today.
The Design Haüs was born out of a desire to offer a more elevated, personalized approach to residential design; one that feels customized, intentional, and deeply considered. Our signature aesthetic at The Design Haüs leans modern-transitional, with a focus on mixing materials, tones, and textures to create spaces that feel collected, balanced, while being entirely your own. I've always been drawn to fashion in the same way such as how pieces are layered, styled, and never one dimensional. This perspective still shapes how I approach interiors today.
Over the years, I've worked with a range of clients from high-profile individuals to everyday families. The goal is always the same. To provide designs that are elevated yet functional, polished yet inviting, blending beauty with purpose.
At its core, the philosophy is simple: design should support real life, how you gather, unwind, and connect.
When I'm not designing for clients or at the showroom, you'll likely find me at the ice rink supporting two hockey careers for my young sons, or catching an NHL game.

I’m drawn to the interplay of textures and organic materials. The layering of materials, the balance of elements, and the subtle moments that shape how a space is experienced are what I believe make great design. I believe the most impactful interiors evoke a feeling as much as they deliver on an aesthetic. A perfectly curated space has the power to shift one’s mood instantly, creating a sense of calm, inspiration, or even restoration. I want the end result to be an interior that feels sophisticated but also makes you feel great.
My favorite layer of design is one of the final layers to be implemented. I firmly believe a space is not complete until the smallest details are styled and in place. This stage brings interest, personality, and life to a space while instantly elevating it. It’s the room’s jewelry.
When I am not at work, I balance life with four active children while seeking inspiration through travel and new experiences.

What began as a personal passion has evolved into a fulfilling career in interior design. With a natural ability to envision the potential of a space, I bring both creativity and intention to every project. My background in graphic design, with formal training in New York, has refined my eye for color, composition, and thoughtful organization.
I enjoy the creative process of blending colors and patterns through fabrics, upholstery, window treatments, and wallpaper; it’s one of my favorite parts of design. I also thrive on the challenge of creating new floorplans that enhance both flow and functionality.
Outside of The Design Haüs, I enjoy camping, traveling, exploring local coffee shops and breweries, and spending time with husband & dog.

As a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Interior Design, I bring a refined foundation in design principles, spatial planning, and advanced design technologies. My approach is rooted in the belief that exceptional interiors go beyond aesthetics. Spaces shape how we live, feel, and connect within a space. I acknowledge each space is an opportunity to translate a client’s lifestyle, values, and vision into a tailored, elevated design experience.
As a Clayton native, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the area’s evolution firsthand. I’m honored to contribute to its continued growth while bringing a sophisticated, design-driven perspective to the community I’ve always called home. Outside of design, I value time spent with family and friends, whether that means a relaxed night in watching a movie or enjoying the atmosphere of a local restaurant.
